Endah Agustiana, Gender Adviser/Specialist
Endah Agustiana will discuss political gender mainstreaming and women’s leadership in Parliament and local levels of government, based on her experience as a gender specialist in Cambodia, East Timor and Vietnam. Dr. Agustiana has more than 18 years of experience in various development issues related to democratic governance, MDGs, poverty reduction, women’s rights and empowerment, sexual/gender-based violence, crisis prevention and peace-building from a gender perspective. She has worked as Gender Adviser/Specialist for various organizations, including bilateral and multilateral donor organizations, government, parliament, universities, research institutes, and NGOs in Southeast Asia (Indonesia, Timor-Leste, Cambodia and Vietnam). Dr. Agustiana is currently serving as Gender Adviser for the Seeds of Life Program, Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries/AusAID, Timor-Leste.
